Dad went fishing today at Riverview Park over by Grandma's and Grandfather's house. He called Grandfather and he met him there for a fun filled day of conversation and fishing. They heard reports from other's fishing that the lake was stocked either Sunday or last Thursday. No one else on the lake was catching anything so the thoughts of catching a fish was pretty much just a fantasy. Well, Daddy text me this picture of Grandfather holding this HUGE Rainbow Trout. It was 18" long and just over 2lbs!!
Can you say Holy Fish!!
Daddy said when he hooked him the first thing the fish did was jump out of the water, (you know that it's totally awesome when that happens) anyway, when he was reeling him in and got him close to land he ran about 15-20 feet of line out...he wasn't about to be dinner. Even when they finally landed him it took both of them to hold him and get the hook out. When they put him on the stringer and set him back in the water, he splashed Grandfather big time!
So, now here's the debate...Grandfather is holding the fish and a picture is taken to prove it...but Daddy sure is trying to convince me that HE is the one who caught it...
Doesn't Daddy always say...possesion is 9/10 of the law? LOL!!
So will Grandfather back up Daddy's story?
