First day of school

Monday was the first day of school, and guess what?
I took NO pictures, not a single one!!!
How sad is that? I'm such a bad Mom!! UUGGHH

Jamie is having fun in his Japanese class! He also wants to join 2 different clubs! Yeah!! My shy baby is coming outta his shell!!
Robbie is enjoying his Honors Science class, he has Jamie's old teacher. not having such a great time being called a "sevie" but it'll pass and then it'll his turn to
call the seventh graders "sevies"
Savannah is having a blast hanging out with her friends. (it can get so boring during summer)
She likes her teacher so far so that's good.
I can't believe how FAST they are growing. First the oldest moves out straight into the ARMY then the next is wanting his permit, then the next is in Jr. high.

Where does the time go?

Mom's ARE NOT base!

Just for the record...
Mom's (especially me) ARE NOT BASE!!
My kids are, as we speak, running around the island, in the front room, out into the
great room,
AROUND ME,
throwing those soft balls at each other,
trying their hardest to avoid hitting me or my laptop!!

They didn't do a good job at it though!

Savannah seems to be the one getting beamed at the moment,
since she is the one running by me, grabbing on for dear life and
saying...

"can't get MOM!!"

(wonder what he's gonna do with that)

nevermind...Jamie stole in and is now chasing Savannah, wait, now caught her
and is beating her and Robbie with it as he is trying to save her.

OK...wacks are coming way too close to me!

Maybe I'll take them swimming so they can burn some of that energy....
if they survive each other.

Homemade personal pizza's

The other day we were making our homemade personal pizza's, one of our favorite meals! Krissy and Nanners were here and had fun making them too! (I forgot to get the camera out when they were all together making them, then the girls got too busy playing to come back and pose for me! hate it when i do that!) They are so super simple to make and the kids have a blast making theit own personal creations!

Here's the recipie:

How ever many tubes of Pilsbury Grands Buscuits

(each buscuit makes 1 personal pizza)

Pizza sause (or plain spagettii sause)

toppings

cheese

Put a little bit of flour on the workspace to prevent the buscuit from sticking. Start smooshing the buscuit pretty thin and push from the center out to make it larger. Add sause, toppings and cheese.

That's it! Easy as pie!

Bake it according to package, may need to add a little more time, until crust is golden brown.

My kids get creative and make stuffed crusts, deep dish, etc. Makes a good family night meal.

Jamie's Board!

Well, as you know the "bug" has been going around our family. First Daddy had it, the Me, then Jamie. Daddy's lasted for about 2 days, mine 1 1/2 days and Jamie, well...you know Jamie, he draws those things out. But swears he's sick. He missed Tues, Wed and Thurs of school. By Thurs mid morning, Jamie's requesting to get outta his room adn on the computer. NOT!! But good try though! Well, he was quiet in his room for a while then called me to his room. You know how he grabs those twist ties in the produce section andmakes all kinds of shapes outta them? Well he must have found his "stash" in his room. He wrote out all our names. Pretty talented don't ya think?!?!?! Too bad his handwritting isn't this neat...lol!
